Meet Michigan's Recycling Experts
We are the Recycling Raccoon Squad – a highly motivated band of masked recycling experts who are going to help Michigan recycle better. In fact, we're hoping to help Michigan reclaim its title as the greatest recycling state in the entire country. (It's true, we used to be No. 1. We want to help get that back.) So, how is a little, fur-covered raccoon squad going to do that? Easy. For one, we know garbage – we raccoons have been knocking over your garbage cans and rooting around in there for hundreds of years. Trust us, we know what you should be throwing out and what you should be recycling. It's in our DNA.
Sophisticated, meticulous, the unofficial leader of the squad. Loves the squeak and sparkle of clean glass. Collects blue glass for flashy art projects. Tries very hard to never break glass while knocking over garbage cans in search of a snack.TEACH ME MORE

Authority of "Other"
The expert in the "Other" category – things that don't fit in the plastic, glass, metal, paper or cardboard category. Frank specializes in batteries, rope, paint, clothes, mattresses and many other things. He is categorically nonspecific yet exceptionally open-minded. Celebrates "Other's Day." Collector of oddities and antiques found while trash-picking. Favorite thing to say: "I'm not like the others – I love the others."TEACH ME MORE
